Haritaki( Terminalia chebula ) : 0.5 gm
Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia ) : 0.5 gm
Amalaki (Emblica officinalis ) : 0.5 gm
Jatamansi( Nardostachys jatamansi ) : 0.5 gm
Swetchandana( Santalum album ) : 0.5 gm
Antioxidant : BHT 0.0025 gm
Basil Oil, Thyme Oil, Lemon Oil, Clove Oil, Peppermint Oil : QS
Base : LLP- QS to 5 ml
Til Oil : 2 ml
Mode of Action :
Haritaki : It is a natural laxative, it increases mucus production in the stomach thus forms a protective barrier preventing acidity and ulcers. It relieves flatulence and improves digestion.
Manjistha :Has antiflatulent and carminative effect.
Amalaki :Acts as an appetizer.
Jatamansi :Relieves abdominal pain and cramp by reducing flatulence.
Swetchandana :Relieves burning sensation.
Basil Oil :Helps in stomach spasm, loss of appetite and intestinal gas.
Thyme Oil :Has very good effect in gastritis and flatulence. Is also a good antispasmodic.
Lemon Oil :It attacks the bacteria in the stomach. It also prevents the formation of acid.
Clove Oil :It promotes enzymatic flow and metabolism. It relieves flatulence.
Peppermint Oil :Relaxes stomach and intestinal tract muscles, speeds up early phase of digestion in the stomach while reducing colonic motility, is a known carminative.
Pregnancy, lactation, diabetes, epilepsy, neonates and infants below 5 yrs of age.
Usage : On a clean handkerchief or tissue paper take 8-10 drops of oil.
Sit upright (keep the spiral chord straight) or lying on bed (without pillow) straight, or while standing or while walking, breathe in the oil deeply from nose and breathe out through mouth.
Such process is applicable for a period of 8-10 minutes in the morning and before going to bed at night.
On empty stomach in the morning and again before dinner at night the oil should be inhaled for effective relief.
On recurrence of acidity / flatulence at any time during the day, the oil can be used in the similar procedure as above.
